Weather permitting, Janessa from Community 101 will be visiting on Thursday, January 19th. She'll be bringing representatives from The Meyer Memorial Trust and the Roberts Motor Company Charitable Fund to meet with the class, and discuss how our Community 101 project is going.
I'm excited about the progress we've made! We have developed an excellent mission statement geared towards helping young people in our community live safe and happy lives. We're also learning empathy, and the power of working together to help others. We have met with several non-profit organizations, and we're just waiting for the applications to come in. I'm looking forward to the decision phase! |
